Create your talent pool

Now, Open Application candidates or those who don’t fit a specific role but are worth saving have a dedicated home in your Homerun account. Introducing the Talent pool.

New: Talent pool

The Talent pool is your new dedicated place where you organize valuable candidates in your account for future opportunities. Any and all candidates that you’ve manually added to your account but not to a specific role are automatically added to the Talent pool. If you have an Open application role live, you can move candidates from the Open application straight to the Talent pool. To access the Talent Pool, click the “Candidates” tab in the lower left corner.

Manage valuable talent

You can easily manage your Talent pool by tagging candidates to keep things organized, moving or copying them when new opportunities come up and emailing them to start a conversation or keep one going. This is especially handy for candidates who applied to your Open Application but don't have a current role available— the Talent Pool lets you save their profile and discuss potential next steps.

Candidate profile

Whenever you move a candidate from a job to your Talent pool, you can continue the conversation with the candidate from the Talent pool. This helps keeps your candidate data orgaized, so your hiring team can stay focused. Plus, you can collaborate with your team in the Talent Pool by using Comments on profiles to discuss candidates and decide on the best course of action in your hiring journey.
