More stage-based wins

Since our latest updates (the all-new candidate profile and scorecards), we added some additional features and made some small but impactful changes to Homerun.

Job & candidate overview

We introduced a simple, clear overview for each job on the Jobs page in your account. Now, you can see the number of candidates in the process and their hiring stage at a glance. Quickly navigate to the correct stage within a job, find the candidate you need, and keep hiring efficiently.

Set who reviews applicants

The newly introduced Application review stage lets you and your team review new applicants with a star rating and notes. You can choose who needs to review new applicants, so not every team member has to review each one. Other hiring team members can instantly see the star ratings and added notes.

Additional activities added

Additional actions are now logged in the new Activity Feed on each profile. This feed tracks everything that happens with a candidate, like moving them to the next stage or an email the candidate has sent. For a full list of tracked activities, check out our Understanding the candidate profile Help Center article.

Expanded email composer

If you’ve ever needed more space when writing an email, you can now expand the new email composer to full-screen. This view is also helpful when reading previous emails sent by the candidate or your hiring team.

Improved PDF viewing

We’ve improved access to PDF files on candidate profiles. You can now preview the first page of the file as a thumbnail on the profile, and open the file in the new PDF viewer for more options and additional pages. Pro Tip: you can enable the option to only allow PDF files when applying — this makes reviewing candidate CVs and portfolios even easier.

We hope these small updates play a big part in improving your hiring workflow! If you have feedback or thoughts to share, please send us email at support@homerun.co.
